RBG’s Ernest Galvan was quoted in a Daily Journal article on June 7, 2012 that discussed the issues arising from a lawsuit filed by the San Jose Police Officers’ Association challenging Measure B —  a San Jose, California voter initiative passed by the voters that makes changes to retirement benefits for public employees.  “There’s no dispute about what Measure B is and there’s no dispute about what the pension plan is,”said Galvan, who has represented public workers in cases involving changing benefits but is not involved in the San Jose case. “They should quickly clear the dust of which court this case belongs in and get to a ruling.  The ruling will present some interesting appellate questions.”
