Prior to joining RBGG, Ms. Chartoff was a litigation associate at Covington & Burling LLP, where she represented clients in complex civil and appellate matters.  She also maintained a robust civil rights and immigration pro bono practice, including arguing a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  Previously, Ms. Chartoff was a law clerk to the Honorable Andrew D. Ms. Chartoff is a graduate of Stanford Law School, where she participated in the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, Community Law Clinic, and Social Security Disability Pro Bono Project.  She also served as the Senior Notes Editor of the Stanford Law Review and received the Gerald Gunther Prize for Outstanding Performance in Constitutional Law and Immigration Law and Policy.  Ms. Chartoff was a Fulbright Scholar in Cairo, Egypt, and holds a B.A. from Duke University.
