RBGG is very pleased to announce that Hannah Chartoff has joined the firm as an associate working on complex litigation and prelitigation matters in federal and state court.
Prior to joining RBGG, Hannah was a litigation associate at Covington & Burling LLP, where she represented clients in complex civil and appellate matters. She also maintained a robust civil rights and immigration pro bono practice, including arguing a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Previously, Hannah was a law clerk to the Honorable Andrew D. Hurwitz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Hannah is a graduate of Stanford Law School, where she participated in the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, Community Law Clinic, and Social Security Disability Pro Bono Project. She also served as the Senior Notes Editor of the Stanford Law Review and received the Gerald Gunther Prize for Outstanding Performance in Constitutional Law and Immigration Law and Policy. Hannah was a Fulbright Scholar in Cairo, Egypt, and holds a B.A. from Duke University.
