RBGG’s Jenny Yelin has been named to the Daily Journal‘s list of Top Labor and Employment Lawyers in California for 2026.
Jenny focuses her practice on individual and class action employment law on behalf of employees, including matters concerning employment discrimination, wage and hour violations, and other workplace disputes. She frequently negotiates employment agreements and separation agreements for employees at all levels, including executives.
The DJ article summarizing her practice notes that Jenny has extensive experience representing clients in sexual harassment matters and captured her thoughts about those cases. “It’s very rewarding to work with clients in these cases,” says Jenny. “They are usually strong , successful women who have decided to make the courageous choice to stand up to their harassers and try to make their workplaces safer for other people in the future.”
She goes on to say, “In sexual harassment cases, a major obstacle is that often employers go out of their way to protect powerful people, even when the evidence about their harassment is very clear.”
Commenting on the likelihood of future workforce reductions, especially in the tech sector, attributable to AI, Jenny notes, “I anticipate there will continue to be significant litigation about how companies are choosing which employees to include in those reductions in force because, sometimes, mass layoffs can be a way to mask unlawful employment decisions based on protected characteristics.”
