Blake Thompson, an associate at RBG, won the $1 million grand prize in the ESPN.com Streak for the Cash Pick-Off on Monday, December 14 when he selected the Queens Park Rangers (QPR) to win or tie with West Bromich Albion in a Football League Championship match on Monday. Blake was one of seven national finalists in the ESPN fantasy game. He picked 29 winners in a row in various sporting events to reach the finals for the contest that included 2 million online participants. Blake had already won $10,000 and a trip to Connecticut over the weekend of December 11, 2009 to compete in the finals. Blake spoke to ESPN about how he won the contest.
