RBGG associates Aaron Fischer and Krista Stone-Manista, along with Sonja Tonnesen, Deputy Director, Root & Rebound, will be making a presentation, “From Prison to Re-entry: The Rights of Individuals with Disabilities,” on July 28, 2015 as part of the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center’s 2015 Summer Brown Bag Lectures in Public Interest Law.

According to the program description, “July 26th marks 25 years since the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), but the force of that law on prisons and reentry programs has not been fully realized. The panelists will review the rights of prisoners with disabilities, recent litigation to improve the conditions within California prisons and the barriers to reentry for people with disabilities.”

The lecture will take place from noon to 1:30pm at  80 Montgomery Street (on the corner of Bush), Suite 600, in San Francisco.  Please bring your own lunch.
