RBGG is very pleased to announce that Brenda Muñoz has joined the firm as an associate working on complex litigation and prelitigation matters in federal and state court.
Prior to joining the firm, Brenda was an associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP, where she maintained a diverse practice that included complex civil litigation, government investigations, and pro bono immigration matters.
Brenda obtained her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 2019, where she received the California Law Review 2018 Diversity Award. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to Justice Mariano-Florentino Cuéllar of the California Supreme Court and the Honorable Haywood S. Gilliam, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Brenda also worked at the East Bay Community Law Center, representing an asylum-seeker in removal proceedings, and aiding with asylum petitions and adjustment of status filings.
Brenda received her B.A. with distinction in political science from Stanford University in 2014, where she co-founded and co-chaired Hermanas de Stanford and received Interdisciplinary Honors in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity.
