Prior to joining RBGG, Ms. Stodder was a law clerk to the Honorable Sidney R. Thomas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Ms. Stodder received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, with a Public Interest & Social Justice Certificate. She participated in Berkeley Law’s Ninth Circuit Practicum, representing a pro bono client before the Circuit and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. During law school, Ms. Stodder also interned with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office’s Complex & Affirmative Litigation Team, worked as a research assistant to Professor Saira Mohamed, participated in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and co-led a student group researching international human rights violations.

Before law school, Ms. Stodder was an editor, fact checker, and writer at the Project On Government Oversight, where she also researched rights violations in immigration detention. She also worked at the Center for Engagement and Advocacy in the Americas.

Ms. Stodder received a B.A. in History from Columbia University, summa cum laude.
