RBGG’s Gay Grunfeld has once again been named to the Daily Journal’s list of Top Women Lawyers in California. Gay has now received this distinction for the last six years (2013 to 2018), as well as for 2011. She has 25 years of experience practicing before trial and appellate courts at both the state and federal levels, and was named one of the Top 100 Lawyers in California for 2014, 2015 and 2016 by the Daily Journal.
As noted in this year’s DJ profile, Gay’s practice focuses on complex litigation and she has handled a number of high-profile wage, gender discrimination and Equal Pay Act cases. She commented for the profile, “In the last year, we’re seeing – finally – after many decades of trying, we’re seeing some progress. Not only for women in the law, but for women generally, with regard to the “Me Too” movement, “Time’s Up” and equal pay. So I think it’s a very exciting time to be a woman lawyer and I’m very happy that I’ve been able to deliver some really good results to some of my clients.”
Gay has also been honored as a Northern California Super Lawyer for 2012-2018 and was named one of the Top 100 Northern California Super Lawyers for 2013 and 2016 and one of the Top 50 Women Northern California Super Lawyers for 2013-2018.
