RBGG’s Jeffrey Bornstein and Jenny Yelin are representing Marco Senghor, a popular San Francisco Bay Area restaurant owner charged with illegally obtaining citizenship.
According to Bornstein in a statement issued to the media on August 16, 2018, “Marco Senghor, who is a naturalized U.S. citizen, is an American success story. After almost 30 years in the U.S., he is well-respected in both San Francisco and Oakland as a successful restaurant owner and entrepreneur, and has been a strong voice in the local community. It’s unfortunate that the U.S. Attorney’s office has chosen to bring charges against Mr. Senghor relating to his citizenship process that was completed many years ago. We will be contesting these charges vigorously in court. Neither Mr. Senghor nor his legal team will be discussing the facts of the case with the media at this time.”
