Michael Bien, managing partner of Rosen, Bien & Galvan, has been selected to the Daily Journal’s Top 100 list, which highlights “California’s Leading Attorneys for 2010.” Bien concentrates his practice on constitutional and civil rights law, complex commercial litigation, class actions, antitrust, intellectual property, disability rights, and attorneys’ fees disputes. Bien has been recognized as a leading expert in complex institutional reform litigation. He has received a series of honors over the last year recognizing his role as co-lead counsel in a landmark civil rights victory addressing the issue of prison overcrowding in California. Bien was a recipient of the 2010 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year Award for constitutional law, the inaugural 2009 Recorder Attorney of the Year Award and the Northwest Law School Alumni Public Service Award for 2010.
