RBGG is pleased to announce the arrival of Rekha Arulanantham as an associate.
Prior to joining the firm, Rekha was the Munger, Tolles & Olson Fellow at the ACLU of Southern California, where she litigated for the release of police misconduct and use-of-force public records across, lobbied for civil-rights protective regulations on California’s gang database, a tool used by law enforcement to track alleged gang members, and supported the families of individuals killed by police through non-litigation advocacy. Previously, she was a Litigation Fellow at the ACLU National Prison Project, where she litigated class action lawsuits on behalf of immigration detainees in California and people incarcerated in prisons in Mississippi and Nebraska.
Rekha received a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where she organized the Incarcerated Persons Correspondence Project to respond to mail received by the law school from people incarcerated in prisons and jails. She received a B.A. from New York University.
