Pablo Lastra, a 2012 graduate of Harvard Law School, has joined RBGG as an associate. Pablo previously served as Asylum Program Coordinator and Staff Attorney with Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights in San Francisco.
While at Lawyers’ Committee, he directed an immigration program providing legal assistance to hundreds of refugees annually. Pablo was previously the Civil Rights Fellow at Relman, Dane & Colfax, PLLC, a civil rights litigation firm in Washington, D.C., where he worked on cases of race and disability discrimination under the Fair Housing Act and the ADA, and employment discrimination under Title VII.
Prior to law school, Pablo, who has a Master’s Degree in Journalism from University of North Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University summa cum laude, was an investigative reporter with the Fort Worth Weekly. As a reporter he won national awards for investigative stories exposing corrupt healthcare supply brokers defrauding government and private insurers of billions of dollars.
