Arielle Tolman is an associate at Rosen Bien Galvan & Grunfeld LLP. She works on complex litigation and prelitigation matters with an emphasis on civil rights in federal and state court.
Prior to joining RBGG, Ms. Tolman served as a law clerk to the Honorable William A. Fletcher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Arielle Tolman is an associate at Rosen Bien Galvan & Grunfeld LLP. She works on complex litigation and prelitigation matters with an emphasis on civil rights in federal and state court.
Prior to joining RBGG, Ms. Tolman served as a law clerk to the Honorable William A. Fletcher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Ms. Tolman was a Northwestern University Law and Science Fellow and graduated with a JD/PhD in Sociology in 2021. As a law student, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Northwestern University Law Review. She was the recipient of numerous awards, including the John Paul Stevens Prize, graduating first in her class. Ms. Tolman’s doctoral research examining the criminal prosecution of incarcerated people with mental illness was supported by the American Bar Foundation, the Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy, and the Kellogg Dispute Resolution Research Center.
